That should allow you to install and activate the newer version. If so, and if you don't want it, unauthorize it. Go to the Sound Soap activation and look to see if one of the programs is authorized. The clean instrall procedures will remove only Roxio software it will have no affect on Bias. This proves that something has been left behind from the previous Bias install, i have printed out an article from the Roxio community pages entitled 'clean install insructions for Creator 2009 & 2010 on windows 7 and Vista' I'll give that a shot and hopefully that'll do the trick-at least i know it's something on my computer & not a software problem. Thanks Steve for the prompt reply, I have had a Bias product on my computer only last month-you prompted me to try loading this soundsoap software on my wifes laptop.and guess what it went straight on, no problem at all. Unfortunately Bias has the ultimate in challenging authorization procedures. Have you tried the alternate authorization string? Did you have another program by Bias? Are you checking the correct product in the authorization window Bias SoundSoap 2. In some of the packages, the numbers were marked incorrectly. Also try using the 'other' number provided.
